Giving Back

We can make a difference! Each of us has the capability to do something requiring little sacrifice and effort that can permanently and drastically improve another’s happiness and quality of life. For example, something as simple and inexpensive as a make-shift wheelchair (although functional and durable) can change a person’s life and spread feelings of happiness and joy throughout the family and community, or believing in a confused and troubled teen, or helping a struggling family bury a loved one in a time of great sadness. The possibilities are endless. Our dollars, time, and talent can have an immediate, measurable, and lasting impact! A simple act can make great difference.

"To laugh often and much, to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children, to earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends, to appreciate beauty, to find the best in others, to leave the world a bit better, whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition, to know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived, THIS is to have succeeded." - Ralph Waldo Emerson

"I am only one; but still I am one. I cannot do everything, but still I can do something; I will not refuse to do the something I can do." - Helen Keller

"No one is useless in this world who lightens the burden of it to anyone else." - Charles Dickens

"What do we live for, if not to make life less difficult for each other?"
-George Eliot
